When it comes to picking the right fish to fry, things can get a bit tricky. Not all fish taste good when fried, or they will require a ton of seasoning. Here is our top 2 favorite fishes that not only taste great when fried, but require minimal ingredients to taste great. 

1. Red snapper: This fish is so versatile and can be prepared multiple ways, but the only issue is that it is pricey all year round. It is usually around $5.99 to $8.99 per pound.

2. Porgy. This fish is my all time favorite because not only is it tasty, but it is affordable. I can usually get this at the local fish market for around $1.99 per pound. 

So in picture above I used porgy. 

Spices needed:

-Black pepper

-Red Cayenne Pepper 

-Salt 

-Garlic Powder 

-Lemon juice (optional) 

Simply clean  the fish and make lines into it. Then just sprinkle all of the above ingredients on both sides
